Captain Falcon-F-Zero Densetsu Anime Television Series
Captain Falcon is regarded highly among all the Nintendo characters as one of the most prominent. He has starred in the F-Zero futuristic racing series. Also, Captain Falcon has starred in the infamous Super Smash Bros series as one of the starting characters.
His famous Falcon Punch can be recognized everywhere around the world by its loud yelling and flasny falcon. However, most gamers have not heard of the Captain Falcon/ F-Zero Densetsu Anime. This anime first aired in Japan and grew in popularity and then premiered on the Foxbox in the United States of America. It premiered in the United States on October 7, 2003 and ended in September 28, 2004. The main character in the series is a young racing prodigy named Rick Wheeler. The Densetsu Anime still retains many of F-Zero's most prominent features. It retains the features of futuristic racing and high speed car races.
IT also has many of the villans like the evil Black Shadow and the devil Zoda. Many other favorites are still there such as Jody Summer, John Tanoka and Dr. Clash. The main focus of the anime is the revolved around the F-Zero GP Legend game. This game premiered in the Game Boy Advanced and was the second game to appear on the Game Boy Advanced. However, the F-Zero Densetsu anime was not well received and eventually faded out around 50 episodes. However, to the hard core fans, the series lives on! Most of the videos out today, however, do not have english subtitles due to lack of a large fan base.
F-Zero - Nintendo's Best But Least Known Series
F-Zero is one of Nintendo's most prominent series. Its games are on nearly every Nintendo console known. The SNES, N64, GBA, Nintendo DS all have been graced with the appearance of an F-Zero game. However, F-Zero is one of the most underrated and ignored game series on the Nintendo. F-Zero is a futuristic racing series that takes place in the late 21st century.
Each race consists of around 30 racers each competing for the goal. However, unlike most racing games, F-Zero does not have any items or special features. It is just plain racing. High speeds of over 2000 miles per hour are not common and killing many racers to get ahead is the norm. In this series, racers compete in a variety of courses such as Port Town, Big Blue, Mute City, White Land and Red Canyon. The main character in the series is Captain Falcon.
He is a bounty hunter who rides the fast and powerful Blue Falcon. However, the series has quite a story line such as defeating evil enemies such as the Black Shadow, Zoda and Blood Falcon. In F-Zero GX a story mode was added that allowed gamers to compete in a variety of courses with intended goals. Also, in F-Zero GX, gamers can build and optimize cars with custom parts that can be bought at a shot. With all of these features, one would have to ask why this series is so underrated and little known. This answer to me is still a mystery. It is a great series and remains as one of Nintendo's best series.
Is F-Zero Z real?
F-Zero is one of most popular racing titles on Nintendo. It has landed its name on nearly every console has million seller titles for nearly all of its main console games. F-Zero is futuristic racing series in which over 30 racers are to be selected into a 30 man race. Racing can go up to speeds to around 2000 miles per hour and the tracks and racers are often deadly. The most recent F-Zero title is F-Zero GX, a popular racing title for the Nintendo Gamecube.
Recently, there has a been a large rumor around about the advent of F-Zero for Nintendo Wii, the newest gaming console for Nintendo. This rumored game was given the title F-Zero Z. This news was first reported by the German gaming site Planet Nintendo. It was widely circulated around the web and few have been able to tell whether the rumor is true or whether it is one of those urban myths that gamers love to spread.
I have done extensive research on the subject through many sources and wanted to find out myself if this rumor is true or not. By most accounts I have read, the rumor of F-Zero Z is one big urban myth. It was considered a late April Fools' Day joke but evidently it went too far. Although the rumor has been debunked, it is not unlikely that the game will appear on Nintendo Wii sometime. Although may not under the title F-Zero Z, Nintendo will surely revitalize the series and give it the good old Wii touch.
F-Zero GX - Nintendo's Best Racing Title For Gamecube
F-Zero GX is one of Nintendo's best racers. Not only did it come from the sacred lineage of the F-Zero series, but it introduced a whole new slew of features. F-Zero GX was not the best selling game on the console by any means but it should be up there as one of the best games in all of Nintendo history.
F-Zero GX hit North American shelves on August 25, 2003. Although the title was given a lot of hub, it didn't sell all that well. The reviews were average and not many people saw a reason to get it. However, when one actually plays the game it masks all of those things. The game consists of a variety of modes.
It has the prominent Grand Prix mode. It has over 5 cups with around 6 courses per cup. There are around 5 modes one can play on for any level the gamer is. Also, the game comes packed in with the Story Mode. This feature was never before seen in the F-Zero world. It had nearly 10 missions with 3 difficulties. Although the story mode can be overly challenging at times, it is very fun. Next, the most prominent feature is the game's customizable parts mode. In this mode, gamers can build cars with parts they can buy at the store.
One can earn money by racing and completing story mode missions. Cars can be customized with many parts and can be fit for the individuals style of racing. All in all, F-Zero GX is a fantastic game and deserves more attention then it got. If you haven't already, pick up a copy of this game now.
